PLAN YOUR EVENT WELL IN ADVANCE

Be sure to plan far enough in advance to invite neighboring parishes, integrate The True Presence and the story of Blessed Carlo Acutis into school lesson plans, schedule school class visitations and faith formation groups. Consider the Church calendar when scheduling to avoid conflicts.

FAQs

  • How long does it take to view the entire exhibit?

This is something to always consider: If you were only to spend one minute per panel, it would take 2 hours and 20 minutes to view the entire exhibit!

Encourage viewers to plan on spending time before and after Mass, to take in as much of the exhibit as possible.

  • Is the room we have big enough for the exhibit?

The exhibit is made up of 160 2' X 3' panels. Five sets of eight panels can fit on four 8-foot tables strung together end-to-end. In other words, you'll need four rows of four 8-foot tables to accommodate the entire display. Be sure to include enough room between the rows for viewers to move easily between the rows. Generally, a 2,000 sq. ft. space should easily accommodate the entire exhibit.

Below the FAQ section are a couple of diagrams of optimal setups. Compare the dimensions of your available rooms to get a better idea of how the exhibit might fit at your location. If there just isn't enough room for the entire exhibit, no worries: Let's present as many miracles as we can!

Please make sure the room you are using can be secured when there are no viewings scheduled.

  • How many tables must be supplied for the display?

If you have a room large enough for the entire display, sixteen 8-foot tables will be needed (four rows of four tables or two rows of eight tables end-to-end). Eight 8-foot tables arranged in two rows, end-to-end, will also work.

For smaller locations, it's possible to display as many miracles as will fit in the space.

Also, 6- or 8-foot training tables (usually 24" wide) will also work.

We supply linens for the tables that match the color palette of the exhibit.

  • What other equipment is needed?

If there is a sound system available that can connect to an MP3 player (Bluetooth or wired), we will play looped Gregorian Chant softly for a reverent ambiance. If there is no sound system, we can provide a Bluetooth speaker.

If there is a large flatscreen or projector available, we can use it to set up a small theater to loop Blessed Carlo Acutis videos (with captions on). If there are no flatscreens available, we can provide a projector.

  • What does the True Presence Assocation provide?

    We provide:

    • 160 panels (2’ X 3’) with descriptions of all the Vatican-approved Eucharistic Miracles
    • Matching table linens (the church supplies the tables)
    • 7’ Retractable Banner stand
    • 2’ X 6’ indoor/outdoor vinyl entrance banner
    • Yard signs and indoor signage to direct visitors to the exhibit entrance
    • Projector (if no flatscreens are available) for a “theater area” where EWTN videos on the life of Blessed Carlo Acutis loop
    • Looped Gregorian chant for reverent, ambient sound with Bluetooth speaker
    • Posters, bulletin artwork/announcements, and any other help with online or social campaigns
    • Bookmarks featuring the prayer for the National Eucharistic Revival and the five requirements to receive Jesus in the Eucharist worthily
    • A relevant raffle prize. Most recently, either the Eucharistic Miracles of the World book or His Eminence Raymond Leo Cardinal Burke’s latest book, Respecting the Body and Blood of the Lord.
  • How can we promote the public viewing times for the exhibit?

    • We will supply promotional artwork for the bulletin, as well as bulletin or pulpit announcements.
    • We can also supply posters for the narthex and for any school bulletin boards.
    • Let us know if you have a flatscreen in the narthex, and we can supply a slide to include in the rotation.
    • We also advise email (or Flocknote) invitations and reminders.
    • Remember to announce the upcoming exhibit on your social media channels.
    • Promotional materials and announcements should start at least four weeks prior to the exhibit.

Please invite neighboring parishes and schools well in advance, if possible. Give them enough lead time to add Jesus in the Eucharist and Blessed Carlo Acutis to class lesson plans. This will get the students excited about viewing the exhibit and sharing their knowledge with their families!

  • Is my church/event within the service area for this exhibit?

We serve the North, Northwest, and West Suburbs of Chicago. This includes most of the Rockford Diocese, some of the Joliet Diocese, and some areas on the outskirts of the Archdiocese of Chicago as well as the southernmost counties in Wisconsin. Eventually, we will have a helpful map available, but please call or message us, and we'll be happy to let you know if we can make it out to your parish or event!

  • Is The True Presence Association a non-profit organization?

Yes, The True Presence Association is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Your donations are tax-deductible.

  • Is there a fee for hosting the exhibit?

Yes, the fee is set by the National Director. Often a parish ministry or group (e.g., Knights of Columbus Council), Faith Formation program, or even private  donors sponsor the exhibit. However, no parish or event has ever been refused due to inability to pay.
